Privacy Policy — Bloom Portrait

Effective 7 July 2026. Bloom Portrait is a UK-based seller of personalised watercolour portraits, trading on Etsy. bloomportrait.com is our website; app.bloomportrait.com is our internal order-management system.

What we collect and why

• Order details (your name, delivery address, personalisation text) — received from Etsy when you place an order, used solely to create and deliver your portrait.
• Photos you provide — used solely to create your commissioned artwork, including processing by our image-generation provider.

Who processes it

Etsy (orders and messages), OpenAI (artwork generation), Prodigi (printing and dispatch), and our hosting provider. We never sell personal data, and we don't use advertising trackers or analytics on this site — only the session cookie needed to operate it.

Retention

Uploaded photos are deleted within 90 days of your order completing. Order records are kept only as long as UK tax and accounting rules require.

Social media and the Pinterest API

Our tools use the Pinterest API (and equivalent APIs of other platforms, such as Instagram) solely to publish our own marketing content — images we created and own — to our own business accounts. Our website and tools are not endorsed by, certified by, or affiliated with Pinterest in any way.

• We do not collect, store or process any data about other Pinterest users.
• The only Pinterest-derived data we store are our own account's access tokens and the identifiers of pins and boards we ourselves created. If we disconnect the integration (or Pinterest access is revoked), we delete those stored tokens and identifiers immediately; pins already published remain on our own profile under Pinterest's own terms.
• We do not sell, resell, rent or redistribute Pinterest content or Pinterest-derived data to any third party.

Customer artwork is only ever shared on social media with the customer's explicit permission.
